This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used on DubaiCitylink. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which covers personal information, service providers and privacy requests.
What these technologies do
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Local storage and similar technologies can also remember information on a device. Scripts and pixels can send information to a service without necessarily storing a cookie. The absence of cookies does not, by itself, mean that no information is processed.
Website functions and preferences
The site uses WordPress and includes features such as article likes, comments and display preferences. The technologies used by each feature depend on its configuration and the choices you make. The inventory below distinguishes technologies needed for a requested function from optional analytics and other uses.
If a comment form offers to remember your details, that choice can store information to make future comments easier. It is separate from permission to publish the comment. Administrative login technologies apply to users who access those features, rather than necessarily to every visitor.
Analytics and external requests
Google Analytics is integrated into the website to measure visits and interactions. Its storage and collection behaviour depend on the settings in use and applicable consent choices. Our actual analytics identifiers and expiry periods are listed in the inventory below.
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page traffic and performance through a browser script. The presence of this measurement script does not itself mean that a Cloudflare cookie is stored on your device. Separate storage technologies, if used, are identified in the inventory.
Gravatar images are requested from Automattic. Loading these images can send connection information to Automattic. These requests are separate from Google Analytics and do not necessarily depend on an analytics cookie. The inventory identifies any additional storage used by external services.
Technologies in use
Cookie expiry and analytics data retention are different. Expiry describes how long a browser identifier remains; a provider may retain associated information under a separate retention setting or policy.
Managing your choices
Where applicable law requires consent, the relevant optional technologies depend on your affirmative choice. Continued browsing alone does not constitute that consent. If an applicable legal exception permits a particular use without consent, its purpose and any available objection control are explained in the inventory.
You can also manage or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking some storage may affect remembered preferences or requested functions. Browser settings do not necessarily stop all external requests or delete information already held by a service provider.

Changes and contact
We update this policy and its inventory when the technologies or their purposes change. Where a change requires a new consent choice under applicable law, updating this page alone does not replace that choice.
