Dubai’s Tourist Police have added a new gem to their fleet—a luxurious electric Lotus Eletre R. The vehicle has already been outfitted in the department’s signature green-and-white livery, blending style with authority.
The Lotus Eletre R boasts an impressive 905 horsepower from its dual electric motors, earning it the title of the world’s fastest dual-motor electric SUV in the high-performance sports car category.
With a range of 600 kilometers, this eco-friendly, versatile vehicle is set to patrol some of Dubai’s most popular tourist areas, including Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, JBR, and more.
In December 2023, Dubai Police expanded their fleet with a McLaren Artura hybrid supercar, capable of reaching speeds up to 330 kilometers per hour. This vehicle features a twin-turbocharged V6 hybrid engine, an eight-speed transmission, and a compact electric motor, combining power with cutting-edge technology.
Over the next five years, Dubai Police will be receiving 400 smart patrol cars. The city’s tourist police are already renowned for their impressive collection of supercars, including models from Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari, Bentley, Porsche, McLaren, and more.
These luxury cars not only continue to dazzle visitors from around the world but also highlight the police force’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Visitors can spot these iconic patrol cars near landmarks like the Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping and entertainment complex, and along the emirate’s main streets.
