Emirates.com has officially launched a major hiring campaign, with plans to recruit more than 1,500 pilots over the next two years. The announcement was made in conjunction with World Pilots’ Day, reinforcing the airline’s recognition of its flight crew as a key pillar of its global operations.
The recruitment initiative supports Emirates’ continued fleet expansion and the launch of new destinations as air travel demand rebounds and grows across markets.
Four Key Pilot Programs
The airline is currently inviting applications for several pilot roles across multiple categories:
- Direct Entry Captains – targeted at experienced commanders for the Airbus A350 fleet.
- Accelerated Command Program – designed for first officers ready to move into captain roles more rapidly.
- First Officers – for qualified pilots seeking to join the Boeing 777 fleet.
- Cadet Program – aimed at UAE nationals, this long-term training pathway develops future Emirates pilots from the ground up.
